What in particular do you speak of?I know I've seen discussion on here about the BBE series but can't recall what people thought. The search function, while improved, returns waaaaay too much stuff, starting with a lot of classified listings - hopefully not all for the same pedal. So for those of you who've tried it, what did you think? What did it do for you?
They were ok in the seventies, if that counts. But not dumb. How's your pinball skilz?
Sonic Maximizer, Sonic Stomp, etc. What in particular do you speak of?
Sonic Maximizer, Sonic Stomp, etc.
I’m just asking what it does and how it’s perceived. Are you looking for the effect of sharpening your attack, taking the blanket off your tone?
Thanks Geoff. I just need to get moving on it. But it has to be done down at USC so it’ll be a pain.Marshall, @MCF
I recommend the Cateract surgery. I’ve never had better eyesight in my life as I do now.
Cheers
My wife had it done at UCSF and has better vision than me now...I know, not saying much. Thanks Geoff. I just need to get moving on it. But it has to be done down at USC so it’ll be a pain.
I love mine. It's always on. I can't explain what it does or how it does it, but it makes everything sound better. Fuller, not boomy, crisp not harsh. Present and good.Sonic Maximizer, Sonic Stomp, etc.
Which model are you using? Sonic Maximizer?I love mine. It's always on. I can't explain what it does or how it does it, but it makes everything sound better. Fuller, not boomy, crisp not harsh. Present and good.
A guitarist friend turned me onto it a few years ago so I bought one (used) and it is always on and part of my chain. After playing around with various settings - I set it; Le Contour 11:00 and Process at 1:00 and I never touch it. It's the last pedal in my chain into the amp. What does it do? I'm not certain but whatever it does I like it.I know I've seen discussion on here about the BBE series but can't recall what people though. The search function, while improved, returns waaaaay too much stuff, starting with a lot of classified listings - hopefully not all for the same pedal.
