Tied to the clampdown 45-50 hours a week makes it difficult to meet the right people and get serious about finding something.

Behind due to work. I'll listen later. Getting a team/committee to come to a decision is like herding frogs at times. Sometimes they move but in unpredictable directions. And three engineers are part of that team! Two are great, one is the classic over-thinker type.

Work is killing mee. And the never ending emails are ridiculous. Someone got a good result on a tiny nothing case in San Francisco, and 200 people have to add their two congratulatory cents.

Yep. I paid full price for mine, dang it.

It’s not bad even at the regular price. But every bit helps since my bass/gear fund all went to restore the other house after Yogi broke in. Hoping to add a couple new basses, including one Tbird, this year. At least that is the plan.

Personally, I think the Delorean is a great looking car. One thing that killed it was that crappy engine. The abysmal Renault Peugeot Volvo underpowered six that had all kinds of problems. That engine was so bad, Volvo disowned it. Yeah, driver visibility was another issue. But it was a cool looking car. I love the gull wings. I drove one a couple times. It was a better car than its rep. Had it followed the original mid-engine design as intended, and had a decent engine, like a Mazda Wankel, it could have been really special.

Anyone here have the SMSG (Some Mad Scientist Goofed) curriculum that we had in the federally funded elementary school I attended from grades 4-6? It is the reason I can’t do maths.

Thanks for the word of caution. They are working on a budget and there are other factors about the future and the one person is trying to solve both problems with the budget. I can't get him to see they are separate. Once we get the budget, we can address the second, and it's even part of the process to begin conversations about the second future aspect. But he want's fix everything, when likely the budget may be rendered void by year end. That's overly simplistic an likely sounds careless unless all facts are known, which this is not the place.

Woohoo! Keeping marriages happy (note I did NOT say "keeping wives happy") is something I love doing - even by accident.

I like them off the floor and on the walls. But they need to be out of cases no matter what. A compromise here and there is needed.

My favorite Clash song! That is, of course, one of the greatest albums of all time. It and Close to the Edge are tied for number one on my (very) long list of great albums.

Huge congratulations on a tiny win to all involved! Except the losing litigant. They probably aren't celebrating at any level, unless it's that it's all in the past now.
