Thunderbird Club

That's great.

But who seriously needs more Thunderbirds? That's just weird.
…In other news - aliens from outer space have landed in Kentucky and apparently have some sort of mind control power that causes their victims to say and do things they’d never normally consider. Mitch McConnell is reported to have said, “Party on dudes” and a citizen that goes by the name of Donny has been seen fondling Rickenbacker basses at guitar center. Update at 11:00.

There you go again.. spending $600+ for the “cheaper” solution!
Plus, whenever you sell an instrument, the shipping price and anxiety almost give you an aneurism!
Buy a set of Lollar’s and “save” $200 vs the Greco transaction!
Yes, shipping anything is a very real concern after the ungodly price I paid to ship a G&L to Arizona. Ideally finding a badly broken Embassy or VP and taking what I need and tossing the rest would be nice.

So, what’s a fair price for a Tbird made in 2022 in Indonesia? Here’s a pic of the body…

Played the Greco with the band tonight. Band loved it - look and tone.

The neck has some finish chipping on the bottom edge of the fretboard I’m going to get fixed and it neck dives so it’s going to get a strap button on the neck heel, but otherwise sublime.

I might look for a second one.
Hey! Save some for the rest of us!

They sold new for $699.00. If you buy one used, the cost to ship from a private party will be +or- $200.00. If you buy from a retailer, shipping may be less, but you’ll need to add tax. They are becoming scarcer as time goes on. If you see one local on FB or CL, somewhere between $500 to $600 for one in good shape is a decent deal. GC occasionally will mistake them for a bolt-on IV and offer them at $399.00; we saw that happen maybe a half dozen times in the last year or so.

That's likely the story behind my CP that I got off the used wall at GC. I paid $250 for it (about six years ago now). That bass is my #1.

Potential Killer Deal! This is it. If you’ve been on the Greco sideline waiting for something to drop in your lap, you’re not gonna find a better deal that this!

If interested act fast, I’m guessing it’ll be gone by the end of the day…

No it’s not an Epiphone, it’s a Greco and looks to be a 1990 model with original pups. Irv can make a nice new truss cover with proper logo for a great price as well.

I’m not affiliated with the seller in any way and can’t vouch for condition of the bass, use your own good common sense.
None so black...

Non Thunderbird content. This popped up as a link. It's not so inexpensive, but not bad for what it is. It appears to have a Dimarzio One pickup, so it will sound a lot like my EB-2. It looks like it's in pretty decent condition.
Rivoli on Ebay

No need for a fan at the Basement of Bad Ideas. The 7’ ceiling has the dents as proof.
Anybody who hasn't left a headstock mark in the ceiling is a drummer and only a drummer. Or maybe keys player. I'm pretty sure Veronica is tall enough to leave hair dents.
