Thunderbird Club

Dang, I forgot all about that PRS Whale Blue and their Caribbean Blue and their Faded Denim Blue, love all those colors. I only have one blue bird right now, my BaCH NR in baby or sonic Blue.

That G&L Cobalt Blue looks beautiful on a figured maple top. Had one years ago (2500 Tribute). Loved the color and the depth in that finish.
So when you’re packing to move, give me a call. I’ll happily lighten your load of what you’re taking with you.

Especially since I have 3 20lb Maine Coons
Here’s Mimosa 21 lbs, just over 2 years old and still growing.

That headstock doesn’t look so big now.

L-R : Bailey , Kissy, Mimosa.

Kissy and Mimosa are litter mates: Maine Coon/ Rag Doll hybrid.

Bailey is TICA ACF purebred.

They just converted all the roads in our area to favor bicycles over everything else. Bicycles get an entire lane for themselves on what were previously two and three lane roads. There are bottlenecks at every intersection now during commuter hours. Ridiculous, given how few cyclists there actually are in a town of 450,000. Please. Get off my lawn.
I'm all for better and more bike lanes, but balance is essential.

I'm glad you clarified. The first photo had me wondering whether you had a 21 pound bird or cat.

LOL - you don’t know how correct you are with that statement. I’ve already decided I’ll have to buy (or rent) a truck and make several trips to haul all my guitar related stuff.
Slayer version?

LOL - someone needs to start a cover band called Evelan Woods, and just do abbreviated versions of epic songs.
Too bad the Cowboy Junkies never covered this song. That version would probably be 45 minutes or more.
And very laid back.

Will work for otherwise free gear!

Genius.

Oh, yeah. That's what makes their version so long; they could cover it note for note but since time slows around their songs ...

never liked how the bass wants to tip away(?) from one's chest.... something about how the bass swings inwards to give full body contact with the bout button...kinda hard to explain....
I suspected as much. I take it you don't like rerouting the other end of the strap in front of the bass?

I was afraid he was about to tell his life story. Easier to just read in 90% of the cases (or more).
I’ve been curious about those basses since they came out. Never seen one in the wild. I’m not much for single coils. I think a set of humbuckers in one would be a very interesting bass.

what to do....what to do...really want to gig this thing tonight....

But not really a fan of this button location..

But this 79 does NOT have a bout button (could have sworn my 77 did) and I don't feel good about drilling here......hmmm...

Beautiful bass! I wouldn't feel good about drilling a hole in that and I like the heel location, but it's your bass.
If you would get more enjoyment out it with the strap button on the bout, drill away! Life is short.
