Awesome Matt: the install will have to wait till I’m back.
Have fun with the Tile work!

Will do some samples before and after install. Will do a text write up along with it. If you find my material useful: you are free to implement it any way you wish.
I’ll publish a review here in this site also.
I’ll grab process pics and glamour (sunlight high resolution) shots as feasible.
Review to include initial impressions, followed by 2 gig reports as I have gigs each weekend.

I will ensure to use the same amp / cab each week, and will provide links to “in the mix” live video examples. I already have some “before” vids.

Excited!

** advance apologies for my mediocre playing **
Hey! I've got the very mediocre playing territory well covered here. Find your own yard! :roflmao:

I still have to finish the living room a bit of the atrium and the entrance. Doing large format 24x48. Had some contractors do a estimate for laminate , they started crying about the slab and the exposed agragate needing grinding etc, so i did it all myself. Ground the agragate with a 4 1/2 inch grinder since no one does residential grinding around here , no truck to rent one. Been in floor hell for almost two months.
Looks great. Couldn't help but wonder if a floor leveler with some latex for adhesion would have been easier? May have been more work, just less dust or not a good application there. And it's been a really long time since I have had to think about such things, and products have no doubt changed drastically. At least you are making visible progress and it looks great.

I really liked them Brites too for similar reasons. Im currently using Elixirs now, bright and long lasting! Woohoo.
I just bought some NPS Elixirs and set of StringJoy NPS from the classifieds. I will use the StringJoy's on the new Epi Embassy which currently has a set and is a fantastic match. But I never tried Elixirs and got a good deal on a new set. Heard a comparison vid with them and several others some time back and was shocked that I (and even my wife) liked them--or how they sounded there anyway. People seem to love them or hate them. Both were too good of a deal to pass on, so we'll see how the Elisiers do. After I figure out what to try them on.

Aaaaaannd, walla!
These pick ups are exactly what i was looking for tonally.
Not only is it a monster sounding J now, but can totally do the Ric tone as well.
Dimarzio for the win.
Ok, back to the regularly scheduled program.

Still a Dimarzio fan. Underrated and overlooked pickup these days with all the new and boutique options.

Good deal on sets of 4 Hercules wall hangers. If you prefer to use another dealer, see if they’ll match or come close.

Who is that?
Only two pickups?
😜

Test still underway, and proof will be behavior under drued clear, but I gotta say... the unsanded phenolic looks frakkin sick under wet lacquer!

Dead black til the light catches the weave, and clearly is bond-friendly to lacquer.
Apologies if I missed it, but where did you source the material and what type of lacquer?
