Funky bridge and claw alignment. I’ve seen pics of that one before.
Do you mean how far down the bridge is, or that the claw looks offset? The latter could just be the angle and phone camera lens spatial distortion. My VP claws look offset when I view them from that angle through a phone camera.

You’d never notice if Mike took the photo.

That bass has been up for awhile, I know George, Scott and I discussed it when it first came up. There *where* some rather telling photos in the listing when first posted that have since been removed, that bass need some serious help, unfortunately.
Given today's market and prices for better versions, if you really wanted a vintage bird without spending 1/3 the price of a new Miata, what would you call a fair price for this one, and why (beyond the finish, extra holes, and lack of a serial number)? Or would you just try to talk yourself into ponying up $10K?

Frankly, I wouldn’t touch it at pretty much any price. But that’s JMO.

My wife and I play every Sunday (she plays keyboards and occasionally piano).
I always wanted to play mandolin. But after playing bass, even guitar necks seem tiny. (I play those even worse than bass. A lot worse.)
For a while I played only upright. When I picked up an electric bass it felt like a toy.

My daughter wants me to raise the action on her Pbass. I’ll also be looking for higher tension round wounds for it…

This is wonderful.

Hello,
I have a beautiful white Epiphone Tbird Pro coming to me in the mail. One of the early ones with rosewood fretboards.
Whats the deal with the probucker pickups? I had originally intended to put EMG PJ pickups in it as a stage bass but Ill consider the probuckers if they do the same thing. I have my 91 Gibson bone stock that I will die with so this one was intended to be the modding bass.
Also, is there a source for a gold bridge for these basses? I know the rex brown Epiphone Tbird has all gold hardware and I wonder if they are transferable.
Pic from the listing as proof-
Thank you

Just FYI, that's a Vintage Pro, not a Pro. The Pro was an active bass with completely different pickups from any other Thunderbird, and 4 controls in typical diamond layout.
But congratulations! Great basses, and that looks beautiful in white.
