If your sidewinder works out and will fit, that would be very useful for me.
Sidewinders were sent. Hopefully they work out. I am working with photos only. It seems difficult to even source these bicentennial pickups , i saw one for $300 that was already sold. I have looked on/off for one to take apart but no luck. The numbers i got were probably from a generic jack cable reading 9.19 / 9.88 iirc.

I've been listening to those albums on my dog walkabouts since the Back to the Beginning show.
Mar and I are working on Changes for her August recital.
Awesome!

All mine are the original releases. Not surprisingly, the first four are pretty worn. Need fresh copies. I wonder if the Master of Reality reissue has the original poster. Mine has thumb tack holes in it….Dad did not appreciate that hanging in my room. I was in seventh grade.

I was in 11th grade. My parents probably weren't thrilled about the poster but I don't recall them saying anything. OTOH, when I was getting rid of some Rolling Stones magazines, Mom picked one up to see what it was. Of the issues I had, there was exactly one small photo that would really horrify her - Gerry Miller (wearing only two tiny pasties and a garter belt on one leg) popping out of a giant cake in front of Mick Jagger. Of course she picked up that issue and opened it to that page.

This is a pretty excellent box set.

As I’m reminiscing and flipping the discs, I’m awed by how good they were. I loved them as a young teen. But grew out of them even before Ozzy was fired. I had forgotten the lick from After Forever that was later borrowed for the theme of a popular TV show years later.

These first three albums are KILLER. I still listen regularly.

No, at least my reissue didn't come with a poster.

RIP Ozzy and RIP bassist Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Theo from the Cosby Show) - he was excellent in The Residents.
Plus I’ve had 2 friends die this week, and it’s only Wednesday morning here. (Both in care, of differing levels).

Limon is the drug running capital of Costa Rica. About the most unsafe place in the country. Never made it there as the road from San Jose to Limon is frequently washed out.

Very sorry to hear about your friends, Geoff. One is bad enough.

We drove from Manuel Antonio to Puerto Viejo and had a fantastic time. Also other places in the area. I'd go check it out for yourself and not go on reputation or stats. I can't wait to go back. Only downside for me is that all the "good" diving is off the Pacific coast. I didn't find any of it particularly special, but I did find some great nudibranchs, which is often my focus.
