I liked it. Among other positives, the guitarists know how to get great tone. Not all do. I couldn't hear the bass much on my MacBook Pro.Once again our audio engineer found a way to stop recording some of the tracks 2/3rds of the way through the song. I thought we were doing OK and would have loved to hear the whole thing.

So I was at the coffee shop this past Sunday when all of a sudden Dee Murray came to mind-
Came up with some great comping for Elton John back in his Seventies heyday-
So this one isn't so accurate as it is the studio recording with clips of artists- Dee can be seen singing backup vocals on the far right on occaion- but it's him on the studio recording-
And on this one- he plays the closest thing to a human groan of pain and lament in a two note glissando after "The prima donna you really should have been there, perched like a queen in her electric chair" line - pure brilliance-
Sadly, Dee passed away in the early-90's at the age of 45. Hope you found peace bro-
For some reason the digital mixer always reduces the volume on the bass during recording. It doesn't cut the volume through the monitor. So, no idea what's up given all the other issues that mixer has (sliders going to zero for no reason, stopping recording of some inputs, volume changes). Technology isn't always the answer.I liked it. Among other positives, the guitarists know how to get great tone. Not all do. I couldn't hear the bass much on my MacBook Pro.
awesome
totally, great food as well.... now curious as to what @TBird1958 the Queen means by so"California ".....
And yet, you didn't think this place was just too nuts...maybe a few of us are, but not enough to send you packingI had only been to California once before and that was a very quick visit to Long Beach to attend a trade show back in the early '90s, flew in, flew out, no time to see anything. So when we drove to the GTG it was really my first time there and of course you have all these images of the place in your head, because, well you can't escape it - California has been a huge part of what one gets to see on TV, so many famous places and names, i.e. Santa Cruz. So, after driving that crazy highway we were talking about last week and coming to Capitola and seeing all these Palm trees and Mission style homes and the funky restaurant I did indeed realize I was in California, the place that I'd seen so much of, but had never been to.
Then, these guys showed up...

Later that same day I'm at this party by a lake and you're playing music with your band, almost surreal.

The bass and guitars sound great! Love your slides, adds a nice texture to the song. Shame it wasn’t all recorded.Once again our audio engineer found a way to stop recording some of the tracks 2/3rds of the way through the song. Thanks. I think the raw data might be there. It appears to be a software bug on the export. The bass and guitars sound great! Love your slides, adds a nice texture to the song. Shame it wasn’t all recorded.
It was an awesome scenic painting backdrop stylistically referencing FLW's architecture. As the reviewer stated - NbNW is one of Hitchcock's masterpieces. Auctioneer; "...I have twelve, who will say thirteen?" Cary Grant - "Thirteen dollars"... Auctioneer; "...you mean thirteen hundred sir"... CG; "no I mean thirteen dollars, that's all it's worth".Was the house on the cliff a Frank Lloyd Wright? Oh and I remember the hilarious art auction scene and the scene at the police station. "How much did you drink?" and the priceless response-
I don’t know why
The 4 on the Floor is a distortion pedal with 4 levels, eq, hpf and lpf. It's very flexible and I'm using it as a mostly clean boost. What's a '4 on the floor' pedal do? A boost? And what does a TC spark do differently?
No Thunderbirds, alas, but an excellent example of the pure joy a mudbucker can produce and why I want one (in a Thunderbird[1][2]). #$%*, I miss these cats. I met Leslie when NAMM was here in Austin. Nice guy.
Some of Leslie's expressions here remind me of Chuck.
[1] Not an "improved", lower Z version. I get that not everyone digs the sound, and that's fine. But at least offer the option!
[2] I have a Chinese version; I just need to pick a luthier to rout one of my birds.

Same here.6 minute increments here!
That is cool!NBD!
This is a Burny Swanky Spider I bought from Ishibashi Music in Japan.
32” scale, 24 frets and some kind of Tbird shaped pickups:
