Thunderbird Club

Huge shoutout to @BklynKen and
@Chucky Stiletti.
To Ken, for a killer stereo system he gave me.
Part of the system included a powered sub.
And to Chuck for his technical expertise.
Can’t say this would be a practical live rig.
But this subwoofer changed what this rig sounds like.
Quite amazing actually.

Very cool! I had no idea there was such a thing. I wish the I LOVE DUST straps had those.
I had one of these years ago on the Pbass that got ripped of. Slightly different look but same concept. I would not use one now as I like more comfy straps. Mine was white on a white bass. Looked kind of good. Made me even more sexy.

ClipLock® Guitar Straps | DiMarzio

That last part I completely made up.

Found a pic. Maybe from 1983.

Turn that sucker up. Can't hear it yet.
Kind of like a mini FH.

Holy over-priced gig bags, Batman!
It’s a ‘19, MIC. I think ‘20 was last production year. That should be a 1.5 nut. Sad the seller doesn’t list specs. I’m guessing it’s NOS, as the plastic is still on everything. Looks to include that bag and booklet. So a late model Goth, likely new. Were I wanting one with the skinny neck, I might be interested. But not at that delusional price. They were $449.99 new in ‘19.

Good point. I forgot that two of my basses don’t need any help holding the straps on. I’m pretty sure the two are my Grecos — with oversized strap buttons.
The 2015 and 2013 EB have big strap buttons. Everything else has locks. The Thunderbirds have Loxx. The EB-2 has Dunlops, as does the Precision. The fretless just has strap buttons. I don’t remember what I put on the P-Bird. Probably Loxx. Something had Schallers. I didn't like those so much.
