Thunderbird Club

Congratulations are in order for our buddy Will whose Mariners just won the fifth and final game of a five game set to advance to the ALCS. Fifteen grueling innings. A game for the books. It’ll take a bit for his heart to recover.
Ran kinda late here in Eastern time zone.:sleep:

I love this...

That's a great bass line too, fun to play.
More uptempo, bit more complex/flamboyant, and the 'response' bars are kinda inverted(?) from Duck's original (dont know proper terminology).
I've been working on both for a while. The original-version line is more elemental, and fits with the original arrangement's larger number of instruments well.
The SRV/Albert Session version needed a bit more complexity, to me, having less accompaniment.

Love em both. Routinely murdering both in my quest to learn.

I guess everything was game pre refrigeration.... 1st century Roman fish sauce (Garum) factory under emperor Baelo Claudius..

There is a reason hot climate cuisine is generally heavier on herbs and spices than cold climate cuisine. I like cooler climates and hot climate food.

Have a great show, that looks like a nice place, playing outside?

We're here tomorrow night, and again on 11/29.

Slims is a blast. I would love to play there one day. I would sure hope stage volume is a little more under control than it is in the rest of the place. It is especially fun there on Halloween. Young women go there in costumes that display them very nicely.

There's so much that could be said about that line of "logic."
I know why places do that, but I like hearing my rig. Which is why I buy what I buy and not sim boxes. Others may like it and that's perfectly fine. Just not for me. I hated showing up and a backline was provided. Never was it something impressive or what I would consider an upgrade from what I had.
I love it when I can just go DI with the upright. It makes for minimal feedback, which can be an issue when it gets good and loud. With a Thunderbird, I really like playing through a 360 stack, but it is such overkill that I generally leave it at home and use a little Carvin rig.

Yes. One more week, at least, of rooting for a team from the US. Win or lose, I will be all in for the AL in the World Series this year. The Mariners never, ever make it easy on their fans. I guess the fans had an impact on the game because Tigers players couldn't hear each other on the field.
