BOC in the Fox Theater in Atlanta was one of the best concerts I saw, and definitely a fantastic venue.

What year? I only saw them on the Secret Treaties tour. Great album. Great concert. ‘74 or ‘75 ish.

A bunch of times, after looking at their tour history 10/19/74, 7/5/75, 6/12/76 and 8/4/78, The show in '78 was at The Univ. of WA basketball arena with UFO opening the show, Pete Way was his drunken self, knocking over a Marshall half stack by pushing against it with his Thunderbird, Schenker left the band right after that. B.O.C. was awesome, as I had come to expect.

Not a bad price considering the case comes with it, great mod platforms. And for $5 you can do a simple tone cap mod that really makes the Goth a screamer.

I ordered a couple of those switchable multi-cap units you mentioned although I generally go with .047uf for 500k & 250k pots.

IIRC my Goth really came to life with a .022cap.
I don’t recall what the pot value was, might have been 500.

Finally re-strung my 2014 Anniversary Heritage Cherry Thunderbird last night at practice. I don't know what strings were on it (no cloth windings, brass ball ends) probably 105-45 nickels of some sort (my preference being 100-40). I really enjoyed the tone, which although on the darker side was quite powerful and punchy, perfect for Classic/Hard Rock.

Taking the advice of ya'll, I put steels on it. However I didn’t put SITs on it, but rather put my preferred round core DRs (in this case, Fat Beams). They really woke it up. In conjunction with my Steel Leather and SushiBox pedals (Per My Last Email and Underground Accelerator) growl, snarl and musical highs were all available. I didn't touch my tone knob, I was enjoying what was getting to much. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can get creamy deep lows back, that's a question for another day.
