Thunderbird Club

IIRC my Goth really came to life with a .022cap.
I don’t recall what the pot value was, might have been 500.
Most likely - hum-buckers usually use 500k pots. Singles usually use 250k. Having said that, my Teiscobird with one Darkstar single and my Gojira Fenderbird with 2 Darkstar singles both run 500k pots.

The waiting is the hardest part.
Still "Label Created."

😳

Did some more sanding on the build.
Found a void in one glue seam.

Stuffed it with filler.

What year? I only saw them on the Secret Treaties tour. Great album. Great concert. ‘74 or ‘75 ish.
On Your Feet or On Your Knees. Killer show, though we missed a song or two. Someone in the balcony was burning something potent. We weren’t doing anything that night, but smelled an odd smell & passed out hallucinating for a bit.

A bunch of times, after looking at their tour history 10/19/74, 7/5/75, 6/12/76 and 8/4/78, The show in '78 was at The Univ. of WA basketball arena with UFO opening the show, Pete Way was his drunken self, knocking over a Marshall half stack by pushing against it with his Thunderbird, Schenker left the band right after that. B.O.C. was awesome, as I had come to expect.
I saw them one other time. Or at least I was at another concert. I have zero rexollection of it. 😱😢🙄

Another one came to mind, Judas Priest, Just Rob and Ian left.

This is why I don’t actually watch hardly any YouTube stuff, too much narration, repetitive talk, saying the same thing three different times, three different ways. Seems like a lot of people love to hear themselves talk.
Yup

The WHO....

They should have stopped when Keith Moon passed, much less the Ox, beyond disrespectful to them both. At least LZ had the good sense to call it after Bonham died, it was the right thing to do.

Louisville Red!
Or Louisville Cardinal ?

(The Dragons use “Victory Red”,
😔 they must have changed shades recently. 😔)

That’s a great looking red Donnie. I wonder how close that is to the Gibson “Sparkling Burgundy”?
Their red changes with every uniform change, which seems to change weekly! But it's normally just a dark red like the bird. I don't recall seeing that helmet before.

The Ruby Red I used should be pretty close to the Gibson color--which is fantastic looking IMO. Hoping to get the clear on it later today but the temp, wind and humidity may not cooperate.
