That's cool--and well deserved.I love this facebook conversation someone sent me a screenshot of. It was in response to someone posting that photo of us. Names smudged to protect the innocent.

Thanks, Miles!Awesome, dude!
Thank you Sir!Nice!!
I get that as well. Simply loosening the string lower than the intended pitch and tuning back up avoids it every time. I think it's supposed to get more accurate tuning as well.Still need to polish the nut slots a bit more as I'm still getting ting-tings while tuning the high strings, though no hang-ups.
Greco does make a Reversed Reverse body for right handed players. But it could easily be strung for a lefty and would actually look more normal that way. If so, it would be a Reverse Reversed Reverse. My Sinister* T-Bird is finally getting fully dialed in & balanced to the new strings. Couple more days' play and I'll tackle the intonation, which frankly is not that far off. But tinkers must.

I'm able to play three-finger triplets & gallops mostly without any unplanned slappy-clanks from my index finger now.
A new skill I've been chasing for months, for Social D songs like When She Begins and Story Of My Life.
Question for the audience; is a left-handed Reverse Thunderbird a double-reverse, or is it inside out?
*Sinister is opposite of 'dexter' in heraldry, of course.
Just the name of the venue. Have no idea why they choose thatSo why the “Dobrovnik” sign ?
I thought you must be on tour!
That's how I've done it for as long as I can remember (age 13 learning guitar, I believe).I get that as well. Simply loosening the string lower than the intended pitch and tuning back up avoids it every time. I think it's supposed to get more accurate tuning as well.
As Mike says, “me, too, also.”That's how I've done it for as long as I can remember (age 13 learning guitar, I believe).
Tuning up only makes good mechanial sense... have always done.I get that as well. Simply loosening the string lower than the intended pitch and tuning back up avoids it every time. I think it's supposed to get more accurate tuning as well.
So, rereverse.Reverse Reverse.
As a NR, that's just wrong. Makes my head hurt.Greco does make a Reversed Reverse body for right handed players. But it could easily be strung for a lefty and would actually look more normal that way. If so, it would be a Reverse Reversed Reverse.

So this followed me home from my shift at the House of Guitars yesterday, it's been sitting in the display case for 6 months or more so I did a seasonal setup on it and couldn't put it down ( this happens more than I'd like to admit) so I bought it. I've come around to the '64 though I still prefer the Vintage Pro. This one is lighter than my Ember Red, plays great sounds even better! I promised myself no more import stuff but I couldn't say no. Video to follow. View attachment 7365746View attachment 7365747View attachment 7365748

How about this?
Such a cool album cover design too- at one time I had the LP-
She's basically given up, honestly I'm not quite sure but it's over 90.Congratulations!
Does your wife keep track?
I didn’t think my wife did until yesterday. We were at my wife’s dad’s 94th birthday party yesterday. We were talking with her much younger cousin and asked where her husband was. He snuck away to practice with a country band he just joined. He plays a tele P. Major jealousy on my part that he found some people to play with. We were talking about all his “stuff.” He has one bass. But five or six amps and some guitars. She asked how many basses I had. I said “not enough Thunderbirds.” My wife started to laugh and said “I don’t know, but it’s well more than twenty.” Busted big time.
That looks great! I do have a new airbrush. They're hard to resist!
I'm thinking/hoping they announce some new colors at NAMM in January.
Time to bust out the airbrush and some black lacquer and give that headstock a little love.
