It feels good once you get your pocket together. There's a simple turnaround coming out of the bridge that feels real nice bringing you back into the verse.

Used the '66 NR again today, this time put the La Bella Low Tension Flats back on. I was loving it. At first when I used them both pups were up pretty high. After a week or so I lowered the bridge to get more beef, which made it work well with various strings it seems. Even sounded really good with the ABM for a couple songs. I really want flats on this bass and the LTFs may be the ticket. They sound great and play great. Good with pick as well. Best Round wounds are SIT Powerwounds and old Dean Markleys.

This NR is without question is nearing the '64 territory. I'll have to play them back to back weeks, but I'm loving the NR and just want to keep playing it.

I need to get the correct knobs. And make a tug bar when the weather gets better.

If you don’t use a tug bar.
Don’t add it.

It's beautiful, and contrary to Jeff I highly recommend a Tug Bar, it just looks proper.

Easy for you to say Rog. I find that to be a difficult song. One saving grace is that the speed is manageable. My issue is getting the pocket together. Fortunately, I found this in the stacks. I forgot I had it. My brother gave it to me a few Christmases back. I will learn it.
