blast from the past!....76 I think, the guys at Sequential used to rave about those......reminds me of this:I didn't know there was a difference between the VP pickups and the '64s. Tells how often I drop by...
Anyway, Happy New Year!
And to show off something, here's my "new" Roland RS-202 string synthesizer (or string machine as I prefer to call it). I turned 50 last November and didn't buy anything then if I recall correctly and didn't get anything for Christmas either so when a friend was selling this I thought those are my excuses.
From 1976 so almost as old as me. Used by Tony Banks, Peter Bardens, Robin Lumley, Nick Magnus and many others. Sounds perfect and has the Roland's legendary "Ensemble" effect which really does the 75%.

can you pls forward? That schematic is different than my 1979 wiring, which looks all original and visually matches all the other Bi Birds I’ve seen.
Happy Birthday, and have a great show today too!

That's how we do it.
I would absolutely love it if Steve could attend - he, Paul & I started TSC 10yrs ago this year! But whatever happens (or doesn't).., happens... (or doesn't happen!Life goes on and you gotta' roll with the punches -

Looking good...ROCK IT G!
I get it. I kind of like their early work, but they went down hill after the Tuna Fish album IMO. Sugar pop after that. They were good live, unlike many acts in the 70s and 80s.with all due respect, one of those bands that never did anything for me.....
Yeah. They were sort of popular when I was in high school with the first three albums. But they kept changing singers. I personally thought High Infidelity sucked. It sold millions.I get it. We used to do Riding the Storm Out. I hated it...Yeah. They were sort of popular when I was in high school with the first three albums. But they kept changing singers. I personally thought High Infidelity sucked. It sold millions.
you can't argue the top class musicianship, vocals and live performance....just not funky enough for meI get it. I kind of like their early work, but they went down hill after the Tuna Fish album IMO. Sugar pop after that. They were good live, unlike many acts in the 70s and 80s.
“Watched threads” is the equivalent of having that bookmark for each thread you’ve posted in or explicitly watched.I saved a bookmark that is under the address bar with "Thunderbird Club" and this as the address. Always takes me to where I left off.

That was probably my favorite song of theirs. We used to do Riding the Storm Out. I hated it...
Yeah. Popular and very sugary. Likely the reason it was popular.Yeah. They were sort of popular when I was in high school with the first three albums. But they kept changing singers. I personally thought High Infidelity sucked. It sold millions.
Same here. Fun when you are starting out--which I was--but not exactly challenging. But people loved it when we played it. If a cover band played it now the crowd would think it's a new song, unless there were some 55+ there. We used to do Riding the Storm Out. I hated it...
