Amen! Amen! Amen! This illustrates the waking addiction to phones that it seems the majority of people have. Talking on the phone when driving, walking, working, eating - which distracts attention from all those things. As a now retired independent laborer and one who was fortunate to work by the hour - I respected that concession by focusing 100% on the work I was being paid to do. Yah, I listened to the radio, but I wasn't endlessly talking to someone on the phone. Maybe it's my upbringing and also being cognizant in the late '60s - I subscribe to the "be here now"/zen based "live in the present" mode. "multitasking" being considered a 'plus' to me is a justification for doing half-ass work. Now get off my lawn...
I'm accused of being a luddite for not texting & still having a "flip-phone" (right Mike?) - but that would be an incorrect label as I'm not expressly against technology. (at least not all technology) I refuse to; 1) pay the exorbitant fees for buying/owning one and supporting the corps that make them, 2) to be at anyone's beck & call 24-7 (Jim, Jim... I'm NOT a doctor!) , and 3) I consciously refuse to support the socially irresponsible smart-phone zombie mentality. Sue me.Amen! Amen! Amen!
A few years ago we had a neighbor, and every time he got in his work truck or his vehicle or truck he got on the phone. Every time he pulled in the driveway he was on the phone. I will say my wife has gotten bad about feeling compelled to answer and reply to texts while doing something else. Unless expecting something important, while eating or something like being engaged with another person, I'll check or reply later. If I do stop to reply, I apologize to the person I'm with and say I do need to reply. I often get a text in the car and she'll say aren't you going to answer? (Often it pops up on the dash of whatever we're in.) She's puzzled when I at times say, No. It can wait. To me driving is quite time in some ways and the last think I want is to get into a conversation about something important and certainly not about something silly. To your addiction point, some people seem to think every text mus be a world leader needing advice, when most of the time...it can wait. Now get off my lawn...!

Knowing what we know after seeing the process - its real beauty is how competent & invisible the fix was/is and how it returned the guitar to its purpose. That's a lot of work but brilliant! And beautiful.

Chick Magnet t-shirts?I've got something kind of cool in the works. Watch this space for details!

If your portrait is on it.Hoping to buy one?
Shirt, that is, not chick.
It was very well packed they did a great job. Honestly I am super happy, I waited 50 years for this bass.Of course! I was really stressed about the lack of neck support in the case so I talked to our operations guys about it. No bubble wrap only paper and cloths… hopefully they did as I asked.
