I saw an interview on YT where he said they admitted some mistakes have leaned some things and this informs and should make for better products in the future. If they could get back to making rock solid products that work and sound great like in the past they might be onto something.That product development guy at Peavy, Fred Poole, has said new stuff was in the works. I have an early Ebony ‘17 VP in new condition. Never gets played. I’d love to find a buyer who would give me $500 for it plus shipping. I realize that’ll never happen.
Everything I’ve read about those refer to them as ceramic.

First off, what an awesome looking collection. That 2014 bird is superb, as is the 2001 natural. Second, how do they differ tone wise given the range of pickup builders you've got in each? I know era/woods/etc. will have a certain effect to them (weight of each vs the wood type itself). Any one you prefer over the others, or simply a matter of which sounds best in the moment of songs?
Especially if they can do that while moving manufacturing back here. I wish.

They are going for more than that. The $499 + shipping was at the low end. Reverb has one in burst (2023) for over $1,000 with shipping and tax. Now that's not going to happen. $600-800 might.
