Thunderbird Club

Hint please. I understand very little Latin.
Will a little French do?

Oof! Especially around here. I didn't think about that very much. Time to stop thinking about it very much. It's not a thought I particularly want.
Today’s news (smh) has an expert saying heavy rain (100mm +), added with the warm water conditions, is equivalent to “throwing burley or chum into the water”. The Bull Sharks come in closer to shore. Those conditions were met for the two worst attacks of the recent 4, plus the Port Macquarie attack.

The Bull Sharks stay close to shore in the harbour for up to 7 days after the heavy rain. Water conditions at Parramatta (way up, Parramatta River becomes or feeds the Harbour) are like “swimming in a latte”.

Lost the article, but this one is similar. Typed stuff out above as it may be paywalled.

So our elders were correct about not swimming after heavy rain. They also told us to stay out of the surf at dawn and dusk as it was feeding time. Oh, and “you can’t swim for an hour after eating”… which of the 3 may be the old wife’s tale.

I saw Gibson did a bunch of British Racing Green guitars this year, and it got me wondering would a NR Thunderbird would look like in that finish. So ChatGPT helped me out, and now I wish they made it.

Add some sparkle into the paint and you get Australian Racing Green. I believe Jack Brabham requested it, with Gold of course, when he went from the BRG Coopers to his own Brabham cars.

It might be a shade lighter than BRG - hard to tell, I’ve seen many variations on BRG.

I wanted a ARG & Gold bass, preferably a NR or maybe a refinish on the Goth. Prob won’t happen but I do have an eBay active search on damaged basses, and another on bass guitar body.

His sons tribute sports / racing car with a modern variation of the paint scheme.

So..one more oyster thing.
Mrs Gator and I went down to Southern Maryland for a pre winter storm boat check.
After we went over our boat we went to our favorite waterside restaurant for lunch.
Good view for watching the oyster boats come in.
They had a crazy appetizer on the menu..
Well, we like deviled eggs..and we like fried oysters.
These things were off the hook!
Storm predictions are over a foot of snow at this point.or even an inch of ice depending on where we will fall on the storm line.
Cheers!

I never did figure out all 4 on the 66 Gibby. 1 was the Mudbucker, 2, the bridge, 3 & 4 were combinations that didn't really work for me (I read later that one of them acted as a 'choke'(?).
OK, I chased it down. Pos 3 was both pickups in parallel. Pos 4 was neck pickup with a midrange notch.
