The audition went great tonight. The guitar loved the NR and pulled out his firebird as soon as he saw my bass. I think this may be the band for me!
They all complemented on how the bass sounded too, and that it fit the band great. I’m a happy guy!

So these cats played the Cirrus Logic stage for happy hour today — The Peterson Brothers. No Thunderbirds but that was the only drawback.
Alex gets that all the frets can be the money frets!
If you hear they're playing nearby, they’re well worth checking out. And just really cool people.
I love that Enki bass case/stand. He flies with it. They don’t make a Thunderbird size, though.

I loved Alex’s tone. He’s using Ernie Ball Pino Palladino Signature Flats. I’m going to have to try a set. Monster tone.

We were set to conquer the world, #1 on WBCN for 5 weeks in national rotation then it all went poof.

They are Gibson TB+ (humbucker sized from an LP bass) under 70s Gibson pickup cans. Same thing I used on my Bach that now lives with Marshall. Not sure if Marshall's has been changed since I owned it.
