I'd try that. The Portuguese clans around here make a wicked Kale soup.![]()
True, but let's not let that little secret out of how great that area is.Northwest Florida toward Mobile Bay, also known as "The Redneck Riviera"-
Too cool - when I was in the sixth grade, I thought how cool it would be to play the alto sax. From watching Sanford and Son. But alas I was too shy to approach the band instructor. As an ex-saxist, love the horns.![]()
First saw this video way back in the mid-80’s- at the the time I wasn’t so much into the music being a classic rock and metalhead but I thought this dude had pretty good taste in cars-my buddy Mike thinking of doing this....

Shall I send him a C&D?
Did you buy it new or used?I’m out of the club currently. I had a Gene Simmons model, which played remarkably well. But the pickups were uneven, and had a bit of a noise issue. Probably my noisiest bass. And the low E was less distinct than the A D G, so it was tough to get usable consistent sounds when recording. It was probably my best playing bass, but when recording I always ended up using a different instrument. Anyone have any insight to this? Did I have a bad one? Electronics broken? Or its just how they sound so like it or leave it?
Yes, congratulations George!!!Congratulations George!! @GBassNorth

I still love mine. That one Dave posted from his CL for 1k with the big chip on the front and which included the case had me wanting to hop in the car and drive north to get it. But I resisted.NBD, occupational hazzard of working at the great great House of Guitars. So a few weeks ago a Inverness 2023 Nonreverse came into the store, I tried to ignore itView attachment 7439296View attachment 7439297View attachment 7439298View attachment 7439299 honest I did but they made me a offer I couldn't refuse, those are not just mere words in my tag line.but words to live buy. Obviously some 7ender player thought they could tame the unwieldy Nonreverse, better is comes home with me.

Some nice cars in this.
Needs more Thunderbird though.
A friend posted a video from one of our shows about 2weeks back.
This is a phone/camera recording but you ca hear the P-Bass with the Thuderbird pickup, which sounds pretty good
Also using my Benson B700 Head for the fir time live.
This is one our slower number kind of in a Crazy Horse vein:
This was an especially fund show since my son's band opened up the show!
Oh my. And the Firebird is cool too.
