Any recommendations for a color laser printer that doesn't have the footprint of an aircraft carrier? The Epson at my parent's is excellent but that's a big house with plenty of room and I need something with a smaller footprint for the condo-

There probably are some inkjets that would fit, but I don't like dealing with clogging printheads and relatively short lifes of cartridges-

Perhaps I should just stick with monochrome?
HP. I’ve never been disappointed in an HP LaserJet. Ours isn’t very big. Just heavy.

Ok- I might just get one then- with everyone expected to have a computer, printer, and smartphone these days- mind you I was used to doing without, having lived on a sailboat for 24 years. Though I'm certainly not a Luddite-

I would use mine to print literary stuff for proofing and editing to save money in the long run- the last time I printed my novel at FedEx on 8.5 x 11 (427 pages), it cost a little over 100 bucks.
Yeah. My printers do far more ms printing than anything else.

For the Frank Marino fans in the club-

That's good stuff. Haven't thought of them in a long time.

Somebody say...Ma...

Actually thinking back to childhood, we used to buy P-M-U (Pick-Me-Up) brand. Worcestershire sauce, plus for tinned baked beans and tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce.

PMU disappeared from the shelves a long time ago. (Never heard why).
So we went to Holbrooks, and for the tinned stuff Heinz.

Another brand that disappeared for a while but has come back in a limited way is 333 (Three Threes). Jars of pickled onions, gherkins and mustard pickles.

You guys are so weird.

😁

What is that one? I don't remember seeing it before. Did you get another 'Bird and not tell us?

That's a Burny, I didn't love it. I had a dead spot at Fs on the E string that I just couldn't get around, amongst other issues.

I think this was the only time I played it out live, same for the silver boots! I was a bit full of it that night, but that particular lineup of the band could really play with fire.

Has anyone tried the Guyker 3pt bridge yet?

Babicz is 5.8 ozs
Hipshot 3 pt 8-8.4 ozs
Hipshot 2 pt 11- 11.2 ozs
Guyker 3pt aluminum 5 ozs
Gibson stock 3pt 16 ozs

Mind you this is AI generated
Keep in mind, on a Tbird body a bit of extra weight (within reason) does help balance against the neck weight. So, if you go with a feather weight after market bridge vs stock you should try to drop the same or more weight on the neck side of the equation. That begs the question - if you use the Guyker which is 11oz lighter than stock, can you trim more than 11oz on the tuners, nut, string tree, truss and stiffing rods, neck wood and headstock size combined? If so, go for it.

If this is the one you’re contemplating it looks pretty slick and streamlined.

Looks like it’s all on deck vs floating like a typical Gibson bridge, so that extra contact surface might be a plus on how your bass sounds. I have heard side by side recordings of brass vs steel vs aluminum bridges and there was a noticeable difference in spite of all else being identical. I’ll try to find the link and post it.
