That's a Burny, I didn't love it. I had a dead spot at Fs on the E string that I just couldn't get around, amongst other issues.

I think this was the only time I played it out live, same for the silver boots! I was a bit full of it that night, but that particular lineup of the band could really play with fire.

George’s Burny is really nice. I don’t recall noticing any dead spots on his.

I love recordings of that lineup!

Killer set lists!

Google AI puts the stock Gibson at 5.8. I believe that is accurate. When I swapped the Supertone onto the Epi Classic Pro, It made the body noticeably heavier. But then it mentions it having a mounting plate. So I don’t know…
The Supertone 3point seems to way between 8 and 8.5oz from what I can find online (ignoring AI). I didn't see anything about the Gibson 3point other than AI. That's probably close, though. Heavier metal on the Gibson, but a lot less of it.

My Epi IV sold. It chose the guy here at work who thought he was looking for an entry level P or J. After a week's tryout, he loves it -- as do his wife and his 5 1/2 month old daughter. Woohoo! My only regret is that some of the stickers on the case weren't really replaceable. But that's the one case an Epi VP/64 won't fit, so that's the one that went with the bass. Also the one I bought for that bass!

OK, now I only have six to juggle playing time for. Well, five because the '64 II gets the most love right now.
How do the rest of y'all polybird families manage?
