Nope... can't say I've heard that one before. I'd gotten Don Brewer before thoughAt absolute first I thought you were a lighter version of Phil Lynott.![]()

Ya know you've accomplished something, when you send the people who people seek for help, seeking for helpAfter a visit with me they will need to look into their own mirror to re evaluate what they see............

Yeah and had fun doing it. From the ages 5 until 8 I was on a steady flow of Ritalin and the Psychiatrists were rendered useless witch led my parents to question their education and practices therefore pulling me out and dumping the meds. End result?.....no changes in behaviorYa know you've accomplished something, when you send the people who people seek for help, seeking for help![]()

I do like John Taylor's playing quite a lot, read his biography recently and really enjoyed it.
I suggest you add this to the list - the specials fresh off their 30th anniversary tour with Sir Horace rocking a rather tasty bird.It was a good day to stay inside and play a bit, the band doesn't have a show booked until the end of Sept. so it's nice to play some other stuff. I just get on YouTube and find something to start with and go from there............Time well spent, here's my list
Save a Prayer Duran Duarn
Thun Line The Kinks
Big Country
Dark and the Rolling Sea Al Stewart
Let the day Begin The Call
New Religion Duran Duran Yes, I slap the bass on this.
Hammer to Fall Queen Live at Wembley
Bye, bye love The Cars
Hold the Line ToTo .....That just creeped in
Room with out a view The Smithereens
Too much Passion "" " "
Blue Period "" " "
It don't come Easy "" " "
Blood and Roses "" " "
Love Song The Cure
If you think you know how to love me Pat Benatar
Rio Duran Duran
I didn't really wander around that much, I'm liking John Taylor a lot, I love The Smithereens, Mike Mesaros is truly a Soldier of a bassist, they're always a half step down so I de tuned the Greco and got his P Bass tone pretty easily.
Anyhoo...................I'm going to sit outside with a cold one for a few.
Man... I'm bummed at how few of the old pics I can come up with. I've lost a lot between the divorce & moving 3 times in the last 2 years. Hardcopies of photos are packed away God knows where. The best stuff is on an external drive that she hasAt minimum, you need to post that pic in full and at best, post some pics from your band's heyday!![]()

.......I am more suspect of whether tax revenues will actually be used to benefit public education. The windfall from gambling tax revenues has never lived up to promises in most states here.View attachment 1193324
It's funny. The older I get, the more I appreciate the stuff I wouldn't have given more than a minute or two of listening to thirty or so years ago. Just one example: I couldn't listen to Suzanne Vega when she was in constant rotation on the radio and MTV. Now I think a lot of her music is lyrically brilliant. And her voice is pure magic. And her acoustic guitar work is pretty darn awesome too.
That's a philosophy that hadn't occurred to meThat's a drag man.
I suppose if the foot's gonna come... it's better to be stepped on by it, than to have it shoved up yer arse![]()
