Labatts is huge here. Their US corporate office are located here as well. They wrapped six big grain elevaters to look like a giant six pack. "Buffalo: A drinking town with a football problem"

Starting back up put a crimp in the gear budget, I sold 10-12 basses to keep things on a even keel ( no Thunderbirds were hurt in the culling ). Now Things are very busy, I am doing antique restoration and sales, Handyman work, Badbird products and just about anything I can do to bring $ in. Point being we reevaluated our budget and new gear purchases are on hold while we pay down some niggling debt. I even cancelled my order for the new Epi vintage Pro. I also joined a Fleetwood Mac tribute Rumorz, we are playing all over the country. Great people having a blast and making good $. Things are changing quickly to rise to the next level, new management has some exciting plans for us. For this gig I travel with a 69 7ender P that is getting a lot of playing time, it ain't a TBird but it fits the gig, though I did come across a picture Mcvie playing a NR. Who's That is progressing nicely, in fact we have a gig tonight. Irondequoit High School class of '77 reunion. Tomorrow night a Rumourz gig In Buffalo NY, last weekend we were in Wisconsin lol, next stop Vegas! So I'll be watching you guys posting your beautiful birds and I'll chime in when time allows.

Thanks Michael!! They are tapewounds but no clue what brand. Taking them off tonight to try it with Black Beauties.

It was a good day to stay inside and play a bit, the band doesn't have a show booked until the end of Sept. so it's nice to play some other stuff. I just get on YouTube and find something to start with and go from there............Time well spent, here's my list

I didn't really wander around that much, I'm liking John Taylor a lot, I love The Smithereens, Mike Mesaros is truly a Soldier of a bassist, they're always a half step down so I de tuned the Greco and got his P Bass tone pretty easily.

Anyhoo...................I'm going to sit outside with a cold one for a few.

So, for a doctor, if you value your license and your house, you stick very close to the FDA prescribing information.


Government plans always try to look good on paper. The politicians will bark on about the tax revenue ignoring the fact that cannabis can be cultivated with little or no skill making it difficult, economically questionable, or impossible to collect the purported taxes.

Doctors have been 'prescribing' pot in CA since '96 for various and sundry ailments. That seems to have worked out OK. That will be a moot point come 2016 as it is in CO, etc.

As it should be. Even during Prohibition it was legal to make your own wine for personal consumption, 200 gallons a year.

Probly comes as no surprise that we were a blues-based rock & roll band (a pretty damn good one too). We were whatever's about halfway between the Black Crowes and Guns & Roses, with a singer that looked like (and tried to sound like) a young Steven Tyler, and had graduated, with honors, from the David Lee Roth Behavioral Academy. Those were the happiest days of my life, and the break up of that band was my first real heartbreak.

Some good tunes. I am noticing a Duran Duran trend in addition to your appreciation of the Smithereens.

Do the math, it's less than 2/3 gallon per day. That's not much for an extended family...which were common then, especially among ethnicities with a culture of wine consumption.

I suppose your right, I was only considering personal use witch would still be one person consuming 2/3 gallons per day. See what happened there?. Now it sounds like a problem again:laugh:

I'd bet there are people on this forum who think consuming the amount of alcohol in a six pack of beer every day is perfectly acceptable.
