I bought my sticker from Larry. I have had no issues with lifting, peeling, etc at all. Feels like it would be very difficult to remove.

Thanks. That's hopeful. I think I would still get another pickguard made. I like the parchment color, but it's solid, and looks weird to me since I'm used to the W/B/W. So I'd probably get P/B/P.

I hope it's not one of my vinyls. :wideyed:

But seriously, could you post a closeup of the "sticker"?

With my vinyls, if the PG surface is oil and lint free prior to putting it on, you'd be hard pressed to remove it without damaging the pickguard.

Will do, when I get home. I'd definitely consider just peeling it off and putting one of yours on, but not sure I want to stick with the full-on parchment, as opposed to P/B/P.

ThunderBuckers with powdercoated covers. Cataldo powdercoated No Scru™ rings, double thickness attached with 3M Hi Bond double stick auto trim tape.

BTW, the norm for a parchment pickguard is 3 ply, but they're also .090 inches thick, stock TBird guards are .060. Parchment pearl is 4 ply.

Those powdercoated rings are they metal rings or are they made of plastic?

Who is that question directed at? I probably wouldn't sell the '91 even though I kinda like the lipstick red 2018. Besides, anybody who would pay a new 2018 price for my '91 is insane, and I would only do it if it was a more or less straight trade. My '91 is a little pounded, and it's been chromed out, so that's more incentive for me to keep it. Red and chrome looks great. Red and black needs alteration.

Solid nickel silver...with standard ThunderBucker Ranch ABS spacers under them...makes 'em pretty tall! I could do plastic ones but usually the rings are polished so I just use what I had.

If I needed them more often I'd have Steve run some in ABS.

@Dadagoboi - I'm in the market for some flat or satin back trim rings for my FrankenGoth. I don't care if they're metal or plastic or screw or screwless but they need to fit over a Bartolini pickup (EMG size Humbucker). If you do custom size rings please ping me and I can provide all the dimensional data you'll need. I'd rather keep the money in the clan than just having some bloke down the street do the work.
