Walsall? Not a Glory Hunter are you?
I’ll take that as a (semi) compliment. It could be worse - I could be a Cov City fan. My nephew has stuck with them as they’ve plummeted 3 divisions.

My love of The Saddlers has been well documented over the years. Just search hairypete on YouTube and you’ll find some of my odes to the greatest team in the midlands. (Disclaimer - I was young and tasteless at the time)

Hmmm.. interesting. I assumed they somehow blocked out the original before putting the sticker on otherwise scammers could just peel the sticker off and sell without the stigma of a "2nd." Might check on this because now that you mentioned it my fingers will be itching to lift that sticker just a little bit to satisfy my curiosity. ;)
I have a little sticker on my Goth that indicates it is a refurbished 2nd.
No serial number visible though.

I have something similar to carry stuff. I call it a pocket

My 21yo daughter has jeans that seem to have pockets, but are only 1/2” deep. So... useless.

Took the ‘02 to a rehearsal tonight. Sounded great with that trio. The drummer really listens and comments on the gear I bring each week. He said he preferred my ‘02 to my ‘14 with them, but thought my ‘14 worked better for my Derek Hoke gigs than the ‘02. He also much prefers the Mesa D800 with them over the Traynor. Sadly, I agree with him 100%

Lucky you have 2!

Just tried a set of LaBella flats on my ‘14. They were lightly used and I forgot they were 50-110. I’ve been running 45-105 on both ‘Birds. Aside from the neck bow I plugged it in to hear how the Deep Talkin’ Bass strings would sound. I could see where it could be cool for some things, but to me it was just too dark and dull. Gonna look around locally for a good ‘middle ground’ string like Pressure Wounds or something that’s between flats and rounds. I also restrung the Drake for drop tuning as my Dunlop rep had sent me a 5 string set of Super Brights. I’d just toss the G string. Decided to let the tension decide the tuning. C# standard felt great so I went with that. Sounds incredible. The Drake is 35” scale and the string guage is 65-125. Really happy with the sound and guessing a few of the new Prayer Flags songs will be in C# :)
An interesting choice between flats and Rounds is the Earnie Ball Cobalt flats. Very bright flat, nearly round wound and tons of grit and growl. If you're looking for something smoother you might consider La Bella white copper tape wounds. They are much brighter than Black tapes, nearly a broken in nickel round wound sound but ultra smooth, no grit but some thump.

I really like Ken Smith Compressor pressurewounds, for whatever that's worth.

I agree! Any more than two would be greedy. Wait...

That will be me if someone doesn't get NUFC out of Ashley's clutches.

I’d love to be able to pretend to have the slightest clue what the hell you just said

Ah me lads, ye shud only seen us gannin’,
We pass’d the foaks upon the road just as they wor stannin’;
Thor wes lots o’ lads an’ lasses there, all wi’ smiling faces,
Gawn alang the Scotswood Road, to see the Blaydon Races.
