To me that means a big helping of the drug induced Doors with a heavy hit of Grace Slick and a contact high of Iron Butterfly all wrapped up in a relatively modern psychedelic offering.
From one of my top ten all time favorite albums. Unfortunately it's really hard to find a venue to play this kind of music these days (unless you know of any opium dens)

The only Mazzy Star I really love is the She Hangs Brightly album. Many bands ago we covered Ghost Highway. Really fun but easy to play. I love Dave Roback’s stuff.
