So I broke my Zebrabird's neck clean off years ago. Put it in it's case (coffin) and said "see ya in a few years". Since then after a shoulder injury I started playing short scale basses. Now I am thinking of having a SS warmoth neck installed. I guess it's just a matter of sawing off the old neck and routing a pocket and then maybe a;so have to relocate the bridge. Think it'll work out? I like the look. It's got Lull pickups.

Thank you Kat.With the tabs below the body of the pot, from left to right = 1, 2, 3 ... 1 = pup wire, 2 = output to jack, 3 = ground.
How do you know you when need a break from this club?
I want to buy this:
For Sale - 1974 Rickenbacker 4000 Burgundyglo
and get a second pick-guard/controls and put a Thunderbucker/Lollar pick-up in the neck position.....

That was my first thought when I plugged in my NR41. Reminded me of a P bass, but better![]()

... and legit punk bands (they will angrily sticker anything they please, and curse you for oppressing them if you try to stop them)Stickers are for cheap basses.
There I've said it.
Good score!Yesterday I found a Thunderbird at my local pawn shop. After paying my debts I didn't have the cash to buy it outright but I was able to put it on layaway. Of course, it's not perfect but it looks great cosmetically and they gave me a guarantee. I think I stole it at $170.
Something like that
I have a sticker on an old Dano bass I use as a Bari. It’s a cheap bass that occasionally is kinda magical. A buddy’s very young child put the sticker in while they were visiting the studio. She thought that bass ‘needed’ it. Maybe you had to be there, but the kid was so earnestly adorable I’ve never removed the sticker

Just got a call from Sam Ash saying they just received a sunburst VP, so I drove over to check it out...

Plugged it into a Rumble 500 with a Rumble 115 cab and tried it out for a few minutes. This one was pretty darn light. The neck profile was really good, for what I like. It had a couple ‘budget bass’ oddities like screws that weren’t completely sunk, as well as some that were put in crooked. No big deal, but I know that sort of stuff really bothers some folks. Sounded quite nice. Nothing like any of my ‘Birds, but nice in its own right. A bit more neck divey than any of mine, but nothing extreme. Salesman seemed pissed I didn’t buy it on the spot, but I’m pretty set at the moment. I seriously doubt he’ll have any trouble selling it fast enough. Pretty neat bass for the dough!

I don't mind the bald. If it comes to diapers, I'm jumping off a bridge.
How odd there's one at your SA, but NYC is getting none.
