Don’t be ashamed to go down to one bass until funds allow for more. More is fun, but not at all necessary.
Dig it... early on I ever had one bass, and had no need for another. Only after starting to play on regular gigs did I find need for a second, as backup. But that's debatable if It's kept simple (passive) and in good trim.

I'm pretty sure to be happier with less! I've got to like my axe, but the axe is for getting there: It's not an end unto itself.

Good word there Ken.

4 hour set ... Super thing .... oh, decisions, decisions.......

I’m not really a sportsball person, so of course I’d rather play music...pretty thin crowds tonight because of the super thing, that’s all

Occasionally I point and laugh at American sport(s) because they're a bit weird. They kinda resemble things that the other 6.3 billion of us play but they're not the same at all.

I’m sure it’s just what one is used to and has grown up with. Then again the only sport I watch is cycling, so I’m not the one to ask about sports :/

Football/Soccer is one thing...

Another is Baseball - The equivalent to this in Denmark is a game called "Rundbold" (translates to "roundball"), which is basically a kids game here. ;)

I used to watch Tour De France some years back - Until it drowned in EPO and tons of other performance enhancing drugs...

Last sports performance I watched on TV was Winter Olympics a few years ago, when the Danish female curling team was wiping the ice with all the other teams... :)

Since then I removed all the sports channels from my cable subscription - Way too many sports channel offerings in my parts of the woods.

much like soccer is typically viewed in North America - a 'kids game' and one that women continue to play into their teens and beyond while boys/men move on to 'adult male' sports like Football (or in Canada - Hockey) etc...different strokes and ways of making coffee keep the world a turning...
