Castlemaine XXXX on the other hand...
What about (The) Katatonic? It has a kind of punk/grunge sensibility to it. The brut sonic force of your bass playing pummels the listener into a stupor.
There is also a form of catatonia refered to as catatonic excitement, which could apply to playing style and stage presence.
"The patient runs aimlessly through the lunchroom due to an episode of catatonic excitement, knocking over objects without apparent regard, and ignoring all outside attempts to stop or redirect her." (Like Iggy Pop)
It might also be a cocktail.
I just thought SnowKat; but it could be a Kat Tonic if she really really likes it
Or Katasonic?How about, KatSonic.
Or Katasonic?
Well it's not particularly important in any case. Maybe later....
Tuner shot of the DR Silver Stars with about 3 wraps on each post...

Pic of the DR SS strings over the pups with a side by side of the stock strings, SS color is much brighter...

Had the same problem, loved how the stock strings sounded on their own but hated how they refused to sit in a mix. Much much too bright for my tastes. Switched to DR Silver Strings (basically a Silver colored version of the Black Beauties). So far I'm liking them but they are low tension, not quite floppy but no where near as tight as the stock strings. They absoutly tame the top end and deliver the goods on the bottom end. Very little finger noise.
Turns out there is a Splendoura, Texas. Just soundchecked there![]()
Sorry, but I can't think of any local beer I find drinkable. For ever I used to drink Steinlager (and I still buy Mainland cheese -- keeping the old end up). I like Czech and German lagers and pilsners with an infrequent Weissbier. There were a lot of adverts for cider in Britain, which got me wondering what 'pear cider' ie perry was actually like, and from there on in cider was my drink until I knocked it on the head.
Designed by committee, taste like camel piss (evidently)Australian beer, made in Canada, for Americans. Makes perfect sense...![]()
What's the room like?, sound decent enough?
It’s a nice place! Pretty new. Nice part is we’re about an hour away from Houston, where we’re playing tomorrow![]()
Had a guy spit take a shot of tequila on the back of my upright at a job. Couldn't believe how much of the finish it took off.You are a brave man.
You know the rules, pics or it didn't happenHad a guy spit take a shot of tequila on the back of my upright at a job. Couldn't believe how much of the finish it took off.
I called it the Mexican patina.
