My Bicentennial 76 Bird with my oldest daughter..the middle picture is from 2010..now if I could just get a grandchild I could stretch the picture somewhat..The T Bird looks the same..the owner just keeps getting a little more gray..Cheers!

Dude, that is beautiful, seriously!

Today is our last rehearsal with our new drummer before we pop his cherry next weekend out in Port Angeles Wa., we'll run through 3 55 minute sets before we're done.........long afternoon ahead.

Go get em!

If you get a chance, please post a full review on how these strings work for you. I've been thinking about trying some Low Riders on my Spector bird.
I'll do my best, but I'm not good at those things. Initial impression is that they're a little "fuller"-sounding than the RS66, which isn't necessarily a good thing for everyone. Lower tension than the RS66, but not floppy like I found the Hi-Beams. Where the RS66 have that sort of spiral tail end, the DRs cut to basically a 45 G string's thickness. I'll play more with them to see how they grow on me, and I would like to at least get a band practice in with them, but my initial guess it that I'll go back to the RS66. There's just something so satisfying about them.

If you are going to have a P pickup it's only fair it should go in a P-shaped body, preferably with as much cheesy glitter and pearloid as it will take before collapsing into a quantum singularity.
That's an infinite amount of cheesy glitter and pearloid. I suggest shiny, tacky clothes when you play it, just because. Style over comfort. Besides, Imelda owes you a small slice of closet for frivolities.

String preference is about as personal as it gets! I agree you should try em in a band situation before moving on. I’ll try the RS66 soon. The recent set of Rotos I got are nickel and I haven’t tried em yet

Recently gave it up. Had a lifetime of it no big crisis, just tired of it. I feel great, lost 15 pounds so far and getting s $$t done.
I have been giving it up for Lent for the past few years. One of these days, it might just not come back after Lent is over. I don't really miss it that much. Only problem, then I would have to give up something else. Coffee? No way. Oddball musical things? Nope. Ah, it doesn't matter. That's a year from now, assuming the ban sticks this year.

let''s talk cases...I have a Phoenix, a Stream, and a Mockingbird...as well as the Epi T-Bird Vintage Pro and the Epi T-Bird Classic IV Pro

I recently ordered the Gator T-Bird case in the hopes that everything would fit and I would have a great option for carrying them all...well long story short everything fits...except the T-Birds...

are there any universal non form fitting cases hat work with these two T-Bird models or am I gonna have to break down and just buy the form fitted Epi case?
Just bumping this up for anyone that knows.

That's just too great for words! When you have a grandchild, you will have to make sure the kid understands the true shape of things, though. It could be worse. My son is a trumpet player. Treble, fer chrissakes!

Having a kid who is musical is one of life's greatest blessings.

I still find it hard to believe that it won’t fit in a Gator ProGo with the bottom cushion removed, but what’s the minimum inside length you need?
