Not sure if you have to get to "hillerup" territory but it would seem you're on your way. I have a feeling you'll be passing me soon as we're tied at four each. I do love the look of the Blackbird and I can see adding one if the right one comes along.

So, which one am I missing?

LOL!!! :)

I would say you're either missing a Blackbird or an Epi Classic Pro in Alpine White...

Or you could go all-in and get a Gibson in Classic White...

I personally would love to get a Gibson in Classic White and a Gibson Gothic Black - but that last one is pretty rare, so it would probably be easier so sand an ebony to a dull shine instead...

Sorry for the confusion, I was asking, Trebeless which of his TBirds was I unaware of.

Had it on sale for guitar-a-thon for $780 too, so not bad for a gibson.

Nice looking bird indeed! i'd love to get my hands on one of these someday if the price is right. And yes Like Andy (Nocturnal) said previously it's gotta be 2001, gibson only offered the blackbird from 2000-2003. Yours definitely got played. I would've said it might've been used by Nikki himself & he just got someone to sell it for him (& GC probably didn't believe the guy was selling it for Nikki :D )

In 1977 I met this guitar player named René Krolmark (aka Hank The Wank aka Hank Shermann). René and I rehearsed for about a year at my parents house, mostly playing Kiss covers and some punk covers as well.
About a year later we formed a punk band called The Brats with two other guys, whom I had met in the growing punk movement in Copenhagen. Rene (or Hank as he chose to call himself) and I were the song writers of the band, but eventually I split the band due to musical differences. The band went on for a short while with a new bass player.

In the mean time I had started playing with two other guys (better known as Yenz Leonhardt & Lars Monroe) - Great guys, but somehow it didn't really work out as intended and we abandoned the project before it actually got off.

Somehow down the line The Brats dissolved more or less at the same time, with the drummer leaving for England and the singer getting more and more into drugs and alcohol.

Hank eventually teamed up with Yenz (Vocals & Bass) & Lars (Drums) to carry on with The Brats as a power-trio - This new line-up was pretty amazing, and recorded a great self-funded punk album in 1979. However due to a new record deal with CBS, who wanted to market them as a heavy band, the album was shelved - A real shame because the album was pretty great for the time (I was present during the recordings and heard all the tracks)...

However, 29 years later someone dug out the tapes to this album and released it in 2008 (Invalid Link Removed).

Anyway, with the new record deal with CBS, The Brats added a 4th member (guitarist Michael Denner) and recorded their first (and only) official release "1980" (Invalid Link Removed)

The rest is kinda hazy, but at one point King Diamond joins the band on vocals in 1981 and The Brats broke up shortly after this with Yenz and Lars going separate ways, Michael Denner forming Danger Zone with Hank and King Diamond helping out on guitar and vocals. Eventually King and Hank formed Mercyful Fate bringing over Michael Denner and Timi Hansen from Danger Zone to complete the line up with drummer Kim Ruzz...

The rest is history...

Thank you, very cool to see the roots of bands that gained fame! I have to admit, musically I like Mercyful but KD's vocals are an acquired taste... that I never acquired. ;) Still, great musicians and again, musically killer!

And slops in a rehearsal space...

My old band shared rehearsal space with them for a while, and every time we came down to rehearse we had to clean out empty bottles and pizza boxes with old food leftovers, before we could play. Eventually we had to abandon the space and find a new place instead...

oooh...the gothic. Yeah I have a saved ebay search for one of those. Finding one would be a lot like finding the holy grail.
