Judging from the pictures it seems a 3 point SuperTone is higher than a 2 point SuperTone, and thus aimed at T-birds with the newer neck angle.
Also it appears the 2 point mounts the opposite way than the 3 point and also has shorter intonation length than the 3 point - So you might get into trouble with both string height and intonation by using a 2 point on a newer 'bird.

Here are both of them for comparison:

As you can see, the intonation screws go way past the 2 studs on the 3 point bridge - But only just marginally extend past the 2 studs...

Awesome, that`s what I was looking for. The specs clearly indicate that the spacing is slightly different. I really wish there was a 2 point version for the three point bridge because man, that thing is not aesthetically pleasing.

I had been watching that bass for a while, and it was either 3rd or 4th relisting from the seller, with the price going down for every listing and no one bidding.

Then all of a sudden someone bid the asking price of $ 275, and I did the $ 280 bid with no max, do see if the other bidder would respond with a new bid.

Obviously he didn't...

OK, to get over my jealousy of Hillerup's score, I gotta see what can be done with my Epi IV. It's a 2013, and has the strap button co-located with the top right neck bolt. I'm using a 3" padded Planet Waves strap (until we free up some production time and The Ultimate Bad Ass Multicam Bass Strap gets prototyped. Oh, I've got some ideas!). I've moved the rear pin up, which has helped with balancing the enormous headstock this beast has (I need to have a chat with the folks at Epiphone and set 'em straight on the cheese knife head stock design). However, the bass tips away from me. That's prolly because of the well funded food blister I have, but that's just a reality right now. It helps a lot if I run the strap over the face of the upper rear bout, but I don't wanna do that for a couple reasons: one, it doesn't look cool, and second, I'm 6'6" tall and I don't wanna lose any more strap length than I already do.

Is there a way to fix this other than putting the strap button on the upper bout, which exacerbates the neck wanting to head south? Maybe that's just a migrating 'Bird thing...

The dreaded "forward tilt"...

I think your best option would be to hike the bass up over the "blister" then it would tilt toward you. Other option is to sling it down, but at 6'6" finding a strap will be rough, which you know already.

If you must relocate the strap to the upper bout, a high mass bridge will help some, raising the rear strap button will help more, and removing material from the headstock will help even more.
I'd try the first two, and avoid the 3rd.

For the whole neck dive issue, I just accept it. One thing I do, I rest my forearm on the top of the body to hold it down. Another, believe it or not, if you actually put your pinkie through the option grab thing it let's you hold and balance the bass. These only work playing with a pick between the pups or closer to the bridge. Playing with fingers forget it. Or you could hook a chain to the end of the strap in the back too!

This is a bad picture, but if you look at where the strap buttons are located on the BlackBird (on the right) that actually helps balance the bass better than most other positions. I am using straps with suede or roughed up leather on the back and that seems to keep it just about right without diving or leaning away from me (except for what my gut causes to happen).

Ya know, I did notice that there moves up higher in the rear ala Spector, forgot about that.
