I have neither of those ... for different reasons.

I do have an Elvis Costello compilation, cos EC albums have a LOT of filler.

I know of one EC collection that the man himself chose the songs for. That’s a neat idea. Regarding the two best of I recall having...I honestly can’t remember how I got them, but I think they were gifts...not sure...

Oz has a pass. Just cuz we don't understand it, doesn't mean it's not English:roflmao:

<edit>

It occurs to me that, that may be the case for Scottish as well. Does Scotland have a native tongue other than English? (I don't get out much)

Could say the same for yankeedan doodlish!

Scotland has English, Scots aka Doric (the language of Robert Burns), and that dreadful incomer languade they speak on the uncivilised West side and associated islands.

My ancestral tongues -- Norn (the Scandi dialect of the Northern Isles) and the language(s?) of the Picts -- are lost or dead.

Kat - so sorry to hear your Norn has died and that you've lost your Picts. Hopefully the rest of the day will go better for you!

The wife (who is a past Grand Champion rider in Kentucky Saddle Seat competition) has informed me she wants to get back into competitive horse riding again, maybe Hunter Jump but this time she wants me to join her in the ring. Long story short, I'm more of a motorcycle guy than a horse guy but I told her I'd join her if we got a couple of Icelandic horses and entered in this competition...

...my kinda riding for sure!
