Guess you won't be inviting me over for some of that wonderful that came out of the oven.
No! :roflmao:

But because I'm all sweetness and light i'll give you the recipe so you can pretend :)
225G butter
150g brown sugar
1 heaped tblsn golden syrup
350g Granola
Handful of crushed nuts (special gift from me :roflmao: )

Melt gently the butter, sugar and syrup in a pan and stir to stop it catching, when it's melted turn it off, add the granola and nuts, mix well and pour into a dish lined with baking paper and pat it down well. Put in the oven at 150C for 45 minutes, then pull out and let it cool for 10 minutes. Cut into strips with a knife then let it cool thoroughly before puting into a tin for storage or onto a plate for eating

We often say North Florida is populated by Alabama and Georgia folk who stumbled across the state line and couldn't find their way back. Mainly the"Southern" parts of Florida are from Ocala north and west; away from the coasts, Orlando and other cities. There's a lot of ranching and agriculture in the center of the state from north to south. The retirees from the North Mostly settle(d) on the coasts. I'm originally from Miami, but my folks were from Indiana so I Sound midwestern.

Florida is also a favoured residential state for many who spend a lot of time traveling. If memory serves, it related to 'homestead' laws and lack of personal income tax.

Yup, no state income tax. Pay's not as good as a lot of places, but ya get to keep more of it. And if you're near Miami/ Ft. laud.,Orlando, Tampa, even Jax, you can get flights to almost anywhere/anytime.:) When I was driving for a living, I was always amused hearing people in the Jacksonville area say they were almost to Miami. Yep, only another 350+miles:laugh:

Hiller - some time ago you posted a picture of your "operating room" dungeon and mad doctors. In light of your anesthesia skills you need to post that pic again just to remind some of our new club members that we're a bit backed up on initiations right now but we'll be calling them soon schedule some organ harvesting time. I think we're only one kidney, two ears and a spleen away from that awesome vintage NR bird listed on Reverb. BTW - it's been a few years now and I'm not really missing that left nut I donated when I joined.

A bit late response, but here they are anyway: :)

Argh! 44 pages to go!!! :banghead::thumbsdown:
I'm only about 15 pages behind, but I'm declaring bankruptcy and just starting over right here. The Shameless Pillars of Society recruited a ringer. He's a high school classmate of my son, who also was one of the jazz kids. Meaning he's a musician who can read music, has radar ears, and all that stuff that us talentless types don't have. He plays sax, keys and guitar. No guitar yet in the band, but keys and sax add what we have been missing. Plus, I put a Shure 330 AND a condenser on the singer to try to draw her voice out a bit more. What with that and some of the other stuff we did, I used 19 of 24 channels. I never thought I would need more than 16, but had an opportunity to expand the system for cheap. So, I did. It worked out well, with the exception of running all the cables and then coiling them up again. Yeah, I'm whining. Mostly, I still don't know what I'm doing, but the results are getting better. It's part of being lousy but having a whole basement full of gear to monkey with until something works.
