It is not a sin.
Whew!
Just did 15 pages of speed reading on clowns and SG's and yanks and meatballs and cats and even a couple of posts about TBirds. This club is like sitting in the back of an all girl junior high school bus on a never ending field trip. Thirty different non related simultaneous conversations, yet everybody knows what everybody else is talking about and anyone can chime in at any time on any conversation. We are truly the ADHD club among Talk Bass clubs. Not a bad thing, just a fast moving unpredictable one.![]()

It is not a sin.

It was a few pages ago, but how rare was that Ampeg scroll top fretless that Boz Burrell was pictured playing? It looked pretty sweet.

I briefly had a crush on a repro. They have a reputation for quirkiness.

I was being frank. Dissertations are done on many topics and I could see how an overview of clowns throughout time could overlap into an understanding of human nature and the apparent need for clowns as a form of relief to seriousness. There's "soft power" (a Japanese phenomenon) which manifests itself in the images of Hello Kitty, Pokemon and various cartoon characters to help 'soften' the harshness of the world. My personal dissertation (if I were to write one) would be focused on this.

It would be mean to write dissertations on them... i meant
