To physically use a pen and write a dissertation on the skin of a clown... we've moved from scholastics to performance art.

I'm not so sure they'll hold still long enough for that.It would be mean to write dissertations on them... i meant

There's a longer demo on their site. Time for me to start saving $.I saw an Eastwood EEB. Didn't pull it off the wall to try, but it looks great. I tried one of their surfcasters and one of the semi-hollow bodies. Both were seemed like good instruments, but weren't what I was looking for at the time.

I wasn't certain I'd like the EEB-1 but then I saw it comes with a bridge coverI love those basses. Glad you posted cause since it's an Ampeg I thought it may have been taboo to discuss..

My band plays in drop C and I found the same issue at first: standard strings are like rubber bands tuned down that far. I use Dunlop Heavy Core and have been really pleased with the tone and longevity. Its exactly what they were designed for. I've used both the "heavier" and "heaviest" sets, and decided I liked the slightly lighter gauge set. BSO has em for a pretty good price. So, random question. I like to drop tune on basses. Primarily D Standard. Current strings on my TBird can't handle even that without getting floppy as sin. Was looking at some GHS Boomers 50-115. Think that would still sound good on a TBird in DStandard tuning?

Thanks(I guess) for posting that. Now I want an EEB-1. Aaarrrgh!droolThey (at least originally) had a weird tailpiece and resonator/pickup.

I believe there are threads in gen pop talking about these basses. There may be QC issues.
