It's been up for sale for awhile now, not a great example TBH. They're pretty cool basses with a nice RAWR to the stock pickup, I'd wait for a better one.

You know, this club is nothing short of remarkable. In less than 500 pages I've learnt so much. I can only imagine the depth of knowledge in what I have not read. I had never heard of Grecos or BaCHs or all of the after market available harware or other ways manufacturers supply this form factor and sound to a very wanting and fanatic group of players, collectors etc.

There is an Epiphone TB4 on CL locally that someone has converted to fretless. It includes a case and the bass would make a good donor for a Fenderbird project. It looks like a Yorkville case in the pictures, but will it fit?

Total length is 127cm (50”). It will fit in the Epiphone ‘wedge’ case, but it’s not exactly a loose fit! Apparently the older rectangular epi thunderbird cases are a better fit, so maybe scour eBay for one of them?

Thanks! I’ll inquire about the Yorkville case as well. They seem to have some variations in length for their Jack Casady cases.
