Thunderbird Club

In a related post I'll add this........

A big THANK YOU to Larry V for the 'Bird that graces my new car!
I'm all packed and about to set off for a Saturday night show in Sequim, WA, as you can see, Subaru's are fantastic gear haulers for the working bassist!

Nice! Where's your cabinet?
My Landcruiser was packed to the gunnel's last Friday night. My stuff - 8RU. 410, 2 basses, pedalboard etc, my son's (the guitarists) stuff- Marshall 412 and head- three guitars (incl one acoustic)/ big pedalboard, plus half the PA gear!
One of the downfall's of having one less member in the band is having one less car to lug the stuff, plus one less pair of hands to carry it and set it up.

How do you get the T Bird decal? I have just the spot for one on my Landcruiser's rear window.

For the better of the worse, my new ones have an almost 7" wingspan. The one our queen has, I believe is about 4.5" wingtip to wingtip.

I've got the larger one on my pickup and it looks bad-azz!

This show we'll have excellent FOH so I'm just bringing a single GK 4x10, it's packed in there ahead of the road cases.
It should be a good weekend as there's a large local festival in town and the Casino we're playing at is the only decent night life for many miles. On the trip out I went past the venue, they have a large LED animated signboard out front - I still get a thrill seeing my band's name and picture in lights!

Didn't know that street existed. What part of town is that in?

West Nashville off of Charlotte, not far from the Nashville West mall. There's a neighborhood back there where all of the streets are named after products/places from the Ford motor co.

I've been by it at least a couple of dozen times and never noticed it until today.

Update on my T-Bird! The pick guard is made and the route for the 3rd pickup is in! Looks kinda funky, but thats the reason I wanted it.

The only issue that the builder and I have run into is finding a wiring that works with the 3 pickups. We forsee some possible phasing issues, but I hope It works. I'll put up a picture of it when its totally finished!
