If you did a Quo covers band, you could play a NR TBird-sunburst-and maybe 3 people in the audience would know the difference. Hells Bells and cockleshells, most wouldn't know if you played any TBird.

Just throw a chart in front of them when you want them to turn down...easy, peasy..Bloody guitarists! Juxtaposition to small man syndrome, a a lot of small men are a PITA; it’s the same with guitarists, small instruments so have to play too loud and hog the limelight

I've been busy creating music for my bands first album - & in doing so, i'm recording the bass & vocals at place & with my array of basses in the mix, for the somewhat "direct" track (due to me using my GK 400RB plugged through my audio interface using the speaker outs & not the direct out), My Tigerbird has a very fat bottom tone. & i have realized 2 things about it: 1- There's a lot more girth that i'm used to having in my personal tone - my main is of the counter part enemy territory, although it's not of the 7ender brand. & i've just disconnected the 'middle' pickup from the circuit & left the split reverse with the jazz bridge & it sounds a lot more defined. Still retains a substantial amount of lows, just with a tad more bite from the jazz bridge pup. & 2- I'm going to tear it down & seal it with a few more coats of Satin clear. Still keeping in line of a worn, rat rod look.
