No, I wouldn't even consider buying a bass from the states unless it was so cheap the import duty/charges were cost effective. Do you have the same issues? What have you got in mind?

Defunct company called Syntrillium pedaled it. They went out of biz and Adobe bought and repackaged it, called it "Adobe Audition". Now it's expensive, but still a nice DAW /editor.

I'm sure one of the more luthier-esque of this lot will be able to tell me why it is so hard to find small screws, in this case humbucker mounting ring screws (#2 x 9/16" phillips head) and pickguard screws (#3 x 3/8" ).
Yes, I know, order them online... I did. But are they that hard to find locally for anyone else? Home Depot & Lowes don't even come close. Smaller, local, mom & pop type hardware stores all had something close but not quite, either too long/ too short, slotted vs. phillips, right length/ wrong diameter, etc. (go ahead... get all the ahems out of your system, I'll wait...)

Cherie & I trade looks the whole night - she's a seasoned performer and as the lead singer (playing rhythm guitar) and leader of her band she knows how to present herself on stage. I occasionally play in a power trio and keep an eye on the lead guitarist/lead singer in a similar fashion. People like seeing a band that engages/interacts with each other.

They just aren't sizes that sell enough to make it worthwhile to stock.
