Man, there is no way in hell I'd take a chainsaw to a guitar and across all those strings under tension and metal bits without eye protection, not to mention clothes thick enough to actually be considered clothing!

I'm guessing that the picture was taken in winter. Wendy O Williams generally wore less than that on stage. However, from a safety point of view, I suppose the can of shaving cream bikini offered somewhat more protection than other outfits.
A change of pace for me today. I had been playing the JC a fair bit (it just sounds so great), and when I was away on vacation, I took the Yamaha with me. So, I haven't played with my bird for a while.
But today I played with two of my birds; I got out the 5 string and the white 4 string. The four string is fun to play; a change of pace was needed. And I have a song to learn that is in drop D, so instead I am playing it on the 5. And I would like to learn a few alternative forms of some songs (play a D or B an octave lower) just to see how they sound - I think it might work well for 867-5309.

Actually, from video, it looks like the tension on the strings is very low. Also note that she wearing the safety shaving cream...

We always do our own version but I start by learning it from the original on youtube.
Singers dream is a right handed bassist at stage left and a left handed guitarist at stage right. That and a well grounded mic with a foam cover over the head.
