No, I wouldn't even consider buying a bass from the states unless it was so cheap the import duty/charges were cost effective. Do you have the same issues? What have you got in mind?

Didn't think about that with a used bass. Ugh. Especially with the New! Improved? Tariffs!

I don't think you get the tax thing back from here do you? Actually the tax is only 20% but it's the import duty that seems to hit us here it seems to vary all over the shop depending on what the guy in the office had for breakfast or something and then the carriers charge us a premium for collecting it before delivery. By the time it's done it can be 80% on top
