Will do! I’ve been there many times, but not with Eskimo Brothers. They’ve never been outside of the States yet. Things are growing fast, so we’re hoping to change that soon!
Long drives are just part of touring over here. One of the toughest I can think of was on a Legendary ShackShakers Tour. We played San Diego with Rancid, got asked to jump off the tour for just one night to open for the Pogues at the Fillmore in San Francisco. We made the drive, got in the van right after the show and drove all night to make our final show with Rancid in Anaheim, CA. We loaded out of that gig at 2am, I took the band to the airport (I volunteered to get our rig home) and drove 1,000 miles before getting a hotel. That was a brutal 3 days!

I was playing a Vox Continental through a Leslie, mic'ed into my Kasino Bass amp, the bassist had a V-4 w/ 2 215's.. We were loud!(yes, there was a drummer-2 bass drums, snare, 3 mounted toms, 2 floor toms and more cymbals than you could say grace over). PA was a 5 channel mixer, Dynaco pre-amp, Binson Echo-Rec, Crown dc-300 into 4 Altec A-7 Voice of the Theater utility cabs. Probably the finest privately owned PA in FL at the time. <EDIT>the Continental was borrowed, I really wanted a Continental Baroque. Somewhat interesting side story: the drummer's name was Randy Rhodes(Not That Randy Rhodes). He and I built a BIG cabinet-on wheels-to house all the PA components. Naturally we named it "The Colossus":smug:

Sounds pretty legit for the high school circuit back then. My guitar plying buddy and I would have been watching in awe; we were still in jr. high then.

I only watch a few; the Rumble club, the Mustang club, MLB (all fairly mellow and friendly) and check out others that look interesting. I also spend time with some of the theory/how to improve playing type threads and actually do pick up some good tips and advice. I’ve become pretty good at a five minute scan for interesting new posts before checking in here.

I rented a car in Cambridge once and drove to Aberdeen. They thought I was nuts.

Haha!

We do the same stuff everywhere...we have 3 records and do our stuff with a healthy amount of rockabilly, blues and old country stuff, usually a bit revved up
