“Hang on To Yourself” is a real killer. That’ll get ones hands in shape.

Yes! That one's got some torque to it alright, I was just looking to post it and there you've got it...

That whole album is fantastic, there's nothing on it less than amazing. Possibly a contender for one of the best albums ever

Definitely. I distinctly remember the day I bought it. Mom drove me to JC Penny’s in the closest town with records. That store actually had a decent record department in the early seventies. It said Play It Loud in the back of the cover. Took it home it was warped as s**t. She actually took me back the same day to get a flat one. That was when RCA was using that supposedly superior new thin pressing tech. Anyway, played it through probably ten times. Wasn’t anything like it. Still have that copy and a couple other clean ones. It is an all time top ten in my book. Made me a Bowie fan for life.

Kashmir? I’m a little late to the party. I was in an outfit for awhile and we worked that tune relentlessly, most often without the vocals. It never really taxed me. I’m sure it’s a wrinkle in the time/space continuum and not a reflection of some kind of talent on my part.
Played that in a band that did a bunch of Zeppelin, eight minutes of my life I'll never get back every time we played it. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzxz

A little yes but with a brighter red and with gold under it at the edges and maybe the back to create candy apple red and fade the red out towards the pickup slightly. Like this in essence but instead of black and tobacco it will be candy apple red and red

Cool concept! I'd like to see it on a test/sample board:)

I wholeheartedly agree. This album was my anthem in '82. A girl I met, and subsequently found myself in dumfounded love with, turned me on to it. Changed my life... I wear the scar from that time like a favorite coat, covet it even.

(Edit... it's a great all-time record even if it didn't sync up so neatly with a life changing event! Every song resonates, lays down like an easily walked path... love this record on all counts, from writing, to performance, to sounds and production).

It's an interesting song musically, but honestly hearing it once was enough. I never understood the appeal. That said, kudos to anyone who can play it right!
