Thunderbird Club

And why wouldn't we embrace that in all ways? French food is pretty good, too, so I'm not seeing a problem here.

I’ve been struggling with the French Revolutionary calendar...
I’ve got a Marriage Cert for some ancestors (GGG Grandparents) in Mauritius and their Birth dates are listed as:
23 Pluviose year VII &
10 Frimaire year XII

The result of the French implementing a Decimal Calendar, 10 days to a week.
I found a convention site on the web and am hoping they are correct.

Those dates convert to:
11 Feb 1799 &
2 Dec 1803

Very confusing. In Canada, we implemented a 20 month calendar to allow for 5 months of summer, but we maintained 7 days a week. BTW, happy fourth of Canadensis everyone...

From now on when someone whines about the US not converting to the metric system, I'm going to tell them to come back when they have converted their country's calendar to metric. Thank you!

This should help, it took him way too long, but he finally saw the light.

Reminds me of the stories about the number of refinishes Chris Squire had done to his wired for stereo 4001. I’m always casually looking for a Ric. But not at that price in that condition. I wonder how it plays. Hard to tell what the frets might be like. It must me pretty solid though. I wonder what its story is.

Unfortunately due to continued problems with my health, I need to sell my two Epiphone Thunderbird basses. They are awesome and in New condition. Due to the inconvenience of shipping and prohibitive costs I am only able to list them locally. I guess that means I will have to relinquish my membership, as short as it was, to this fine club.

Man it's a bummer to hear that. I hope things turn to good for you. And for what it's worth, I've been playing a Fender lately and I haven't gone blind yet... though I am wearing bifocals. .

I still say he's laid down some rippin' bass lines. Signals is probably my favorite album of theirs.
I also am aware that I may be the only one at that party. :)

Ok, sidetrack acheived! Please carry on...
