Unfortunately people think they are all the same. Had a guy say he had a bug just like mine... turned out to be a 70’s Super Beetle... to us pre-60’s VW folk a super beetle is hardly a Bug!

My dad has a restored chassis I’d like to make into a Porsche Speedster kit or Ferrari kit car, using a Subaru turbo engine.... one day.

I shall continue to use "irregardless" regardless of what others think.
Same for the word "thru" vs through. If enough of us act illiterate long enough our poor language practices will become the accepted language, all will be forced to conform to our lower standards.

It is reflexive je me souviens. When reflexive, an object is required. So, "I remember" is "je souviens", "I remember you" is "je te souviens". "Je me souviens" is "I remember myself".

A tiny subset of the Imperial system is SAE. I like to use SAE in a larger sense [1], as in, "my SAE is SAE-sized, not metric-sized". One friend just calls it "right-sized".

There are a small group of people dedicated to running big Ford motors in Miatas. If I had the time and money to spare, I'd be in that group.
