As far as I know GK flat EQ is 10, 2, 1, 11 so that’s where I would start.Maybe try this as a starting point.
Looks a bit whack, but might work really well.

I use the G30 too. No issues, although I’m only playing at home for the time being. The form factor of those small units is appealing, but I’ve seen mixed reviews and decided to play it safe with a fairly highly rated product instead.FWIW I bought a Line 6 G30 from Ebay for $130 USD. I've played 3 gigs with it and practice with it every day.
The only time it's dropped out is when my bass is 5-6 ft away from a wireless access point in my house - and that's a WAP with a very strong signal.
Cordless is great! It's one of those things I can't believe I didn't get years ago.

You won’t know until you’re there. If you had wireless, you could go to different parts of the room
I wouldn’t worry too much. You guys are adults so it’s not like you’re going to get into a volume war![]()
The neck plate is the right spot. If you’re still feeling it tug, the next thing is strap material and width. I do not experience any dive on my various TBirds but I use Gibson Slingshots and it’s grippy and 2.5” wide.

Nice!Yeah, one verse b4 kickin' it is enough-gives folks in the back plenty of time to get to the dance area.![]()
Or just get a hipshotTo your point (pun intended) the two outside posts on a three pointer, (in my opinion) are best set all the way down. Now this is just a personal opinion. But after experimenting on the BBII. Seems to make a tonal difference when there is the most contact bridge to body. I know it’s a floating bridge design, or some what to that affect. But I’ve found there is still a good break angle even with raising the center point.
So, I’m probably just repeating what you just said. It’s hot, humid and I’m bored.

Cool idea.Another material that works is an old vinyl record. Best to use a bandsaw, or jigsaw. Protect the finish side with masking tape before you start.

For modest tug, I find soft and wide is at least as good as grippy.

That's what she said...
the strap button is on the neck plate. it dives. are you saying to screw into neck? this is a 2014 china model
You're kinda creepy..........
I like that about you, Jeff.
My thought, too.Have you seen the room?, or know what it might be like acoustically?
My first guess is, it's going to be about the low mids and bass.
And a bit lower on your hip. Look at photos of Jack Casady for an example. The other is to try holding the neck at a greater angle than you would a 7ender. It just seems to work better for some folk like that.
The smart A answer is atop another 410Ok, supporting it how?
V, how do you usually have the boost set?

But otherwise have you got a milk crate (or 2) ?
I use little footstools that I got from the local Bunnings - a large hardware warehouse.

Supposed to hold 120kgs each. So a cab or 2 is fine. Cheap as chips also.
