Thunderbird Club

got this out of the shop a couple days ago and took it to a practice last night. Such a nice sounding bass

It has a TB ‘66 and I’m quite fond of it @cornfarmer. Not sure what’s up with yours...sorry you’re having problems. Or maybe you just prefer the hotter 66S.

My 10 year old has started listening to Deadmau5 (pronounced dead-maw-five) but at least it is balanced by some Rush, Dream Theater etc.
Yep, we had Yes, ELP, Mountain, Zeppelin, Vivaldi and Buxtehudeh (sp on that last one??)...
Couldn't stop the onslaught of EDM though, no matter what we did...

I'm still considering one of those for next summer.

Nice bird! Either you keep that in a bike shop, or you have a very interesting taste in clothing in your closet. ;)

Hmm. Kinda looks old and weathered:smug:-nicely done.
It's always fun to bring them forward in time, the prototype was built in June of'69, my model is how it looked in '76.

It'll be raining soon, days like this are made for model trains...………………….

Here's the one I was scratch building, all finished up.

V - very cool!
I'm not very up on train cars, how about some education. So in real life would this type of car be used to haul large tractor tread type vehicles? Would the two ends somehow be positioned as ramps to allow the heavy equipment to drive onto the flatbed? May seem like stupid questions, just an enquiring mind.
