drop D tuners are super cool, something about that low D on songs like "The Wall" and others (of course) but sometimes they can be tweaky in holding the standard E tuning when you flip them back...
I've got this one strung BEAD for sub E stuff..works well..

More like they started using computer control...the 3.6L V6 in my wife's RS is good for 320HP on fairly low octane fuel. Mileage? 26 to the gallon. Unheard of 40 years ago..

I guys checking in real quick. So far I've had a crazy busy year, Spent seven or eight months working 10-12 hour a day six days a week. Now Im working two straight weeks 12 hours a day in a Nuclear energy plant. Haven't been able to play a lick lol. Things should be slowing down for the winter or for at least a couple months. Oh btw for those who remember Ol Blu, I did finally get her back with Gibson pups with nickel covers, she looks real nice. Also recently found a Cardnal Red Epi bird on craigs list that I picked up for less than the price of a new case and yes she came with a practically new case, she's impeccable. I don't think she ever was played so its like new.

Good to see you! It's great that you are doing well, but I can't imagine working like that again. I did it back in the early '90s, and don't want to do it again! I would love to see the red 'Bird. There's just something special about a red Thunderbird.

I sure hope things have changed. Fords were fine until sometime in the '70s. Then they were absolutely awful for a while. I haven't owned a Ford since I sold the '72 wagon with wood on the side and a rusted out floor in 1980. Now I own a Transit Connect. I sure hope Ford got their act together by 2010. If not, I'll really regret selling the officially creepy full sized Chevy van. Then again, I'm getting a raft of Craigslist lowballers and spammers, and a few who are interested in very specific things and then disappear. So, who knows. I may never sell the Chevy.

An Epi like yours was the first Thunderbird I owned. I let it go, but missed it enough to hunt down another one, even though I managed to land several Gibson Thunderbirds in the mean time. So, it sure does count. If you look around a bit, you will see that just about any 'Bird Shaped Object qualifies around here. We don't get very hung up on much of anything, which is really refreshing.

Not sure I have a picture on hand; I'll have to take a good one when I'm off work.

All I knew was that it was something people said, having never owned a Ford. Back then ones dad was either a Chevy owner or a Ford owner (or Dodge etc). My father owned a '57 Chevy and '62 Pontiac, both wagons and a 70's Chevy sedan.

The Dodge Hellcats make 707hp and 21 mpg.... now THAT’S a car!
